The X-box. I do not like the concept of it. Say you find a second-hand snes in a shop. You can still dust it off, use an eraser on the cartridge contacts and play away. Same with those old Atari consoles. And I'm pretty sure it'll be a damned long time before my PSone dies. But an X-box has a hard drive in it. That is so totally going to fuck up before five years is out. Especially if you find one second hand: who knows what the owners and retailers have done to the bloody thing. And in five years the only way you'll be able to repair it is DIY because no one will have the parts. So you end up with a catalogue of unusable games. And don't think about using them in backwards compatible future generation consoles, because it looks like the bloody things won't even be able to read discs. They're looking at having all next generation games purchased and downloaded over broadband connections. Which I don't want to even start ranting about.
