Just watched a movie with my brother. Jason's an unemployed apprentice mechanic. He's also a stage hand for the local theatre group. Or something. He's the stage manager when the real stage manager is away. They put on a Tom Stoppard play a few years back and that was pretty good. They've been focussing on Australian stuff lately though, and this year they're doing a production of Cosi. It was made into a film in the nineties. It's about a mental institution that tries to put on a minor production, a variety show, as therapy for thier patients. They end up showing a version of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte. I dunno what the play's gunna be like. We watched the movie so he could get an idea of the props and sets he'd need. I might show up for the auditions they're doing on Friday. Just for the backstage stuff, though.
