I didn't get the part I originally read for in Cosi. I wanted to be Zac, the musician-drug addict. He spends most of the time passed out at the piano but has a coupla cool parts about revelation, and about how Mozart is a load of sugary, happy nonsense. The parts haven't been announced yet, but because I had to stay behind and wait for my brother I got to talk with the directors and the producer after their meeting. I'm playing Henry, because I was the only one who had a satisfactory stutter, apparently. The character is a failed lawyer who has had enough of the world and retreated into himself. His left arm is paralysed and he stutters. He has a moment where, when told that they're going to be dressed up as Albanian Communists, attacks the director's friend and defends the honour of women in general. He spends most the play staring at the floor, too. It should be interesting.
