I'm in that special kind of pain you can only get by walking long distances in bad shoes. It's making me reconsider the wisdom of purchasing footwear in a supermarket. Not that I walk all that much. And when I do it's usually to go from my room to some other point in the house and unless we're in a middle of a plague of wasps or ants, then I don't need shoes at all.
