I just checked the back door and it is still in fact locked. I also shook out my quilts and no spiders fell out. My room really smells like farts. Which is good because spiders hate the smell of farts. They do. I had the most cowardly reaction when I realised there was someone outside. They jumped the back fence to get into our yard. I heard the crunch as thier food dragged on the wood. I tensed my body up, opened my eyes wide and tried as hard as I could to listen. I heard the back door, it's one of those sliding deals with the glass in it, rattle twice. I just laid there thinking that if someone really did break in they wouldn't be able to get in my room because it's barred with a coupla curtains that are intended to block out noise. Your heart really does get noisy when you're afraid. Anyway. I'm pooped. Off to bed with me.
