Feeling better now. Been playing Planescape: Torment, and I gotta say it's not what I expected. It's built using the same engine that the Baldur's Gate games and Icewind Dale used. But it looks more like a console RPG. You still know you're playing a PC game, but it feels like a cross between the platforms. The game it reminds me most of is Chronotrigger.
