The appointment happened well and there was no need to 'violate' anyone's 'trust'. I didn't have to hurt anyone. The police weren't called. There was no crying. The guy just looked at me with this kind of amusement, gave me a form, said to bring it in with ID and that was it. Now all that remains is to fill the form in, and find my birth certificate. For something so important I sure do lose it a lot.
