In town was interesting. There's a sheep boat in so the town smells like shit. Jason's car is still noisy as hell. We drove around doing various things and listening to Mechanical Animals. There were a bunch of black guys standing around outside the bank, off the boat, probably. They weren't speaking English. It always seems so conspicuous in Portland but in Melbourne you wouldn't even notice. Each place we went to there was a parking place right outside: the bank, the supermarket, the dole office, the computer store and the car parts place. I had to wait a while in the computer store while they figured out prices and models. They just gave me the size and speed of the drive, not the make. Probably another Seagate.
