Deus Ex has eaten all my time in the past few days. I am up to the last level, however. The only thing left to do is penetrate the evil maniac's base and kill him. I've been playing it as if I was Leon in The Professional: using a silenced sniper rifle if at all possible, a mini-crossbow or silenced pistol if they get too close. My favourite augs are the targetting one and the cloaking one. Although, my liking for using a missle launcher to blow doors open does kinda break character. My favourite tactic for rooms full of guards is to turn on my environmental protection aug, throw a gas grenade in then run in and shoot everyone in the head with a stealth 9mm while they're standing there rubbing thier eyes. There's one mission where your chopper lands you on the roof of a building in Paris. I was hungry so I boiled water for cup noodles and left the game running. When I came back I noticed there were places where you should be able to see the streets below. Sure enough, there were commandos walking about in thier silly suits. I sat there eating the cup noodles and waiting for them to wander beneath. Then I'd shoot, put down the rifle, eat the noodles and wait again. It felt really cool.
