The course I have been browsing the materials on is Australian Studies. During the thirteen weeks we'll be looking at what the 'Australian Identity' is, how it was constructed and how it might not be applicable to Australians now. It's really interesting, mainly because I've always found the idea of what's 'Australian' something that doesn't really apply to me. This is to give a context to basic humanities study. We did the same thing with studying the Olympics when I was at Uni in '98. The workload isn't that great, with only three assessment essays of 750 words and an exam at the end.
