One thing about drinking alone is you don't have to worry about facing people next morning over the stupid shit you did. I always had pretty major problems with that and the main way I dealt with it was by hiding in my room for the few days after. When I'm drunk I just can't shut my goddamn mouth. Only problem is, Saturday night's binge was done while I was online talking to quite a few people. People who I am now hiding from. Stupid technology.
