It's late. Or early. All depends on your perspective. I'm waking up. I've been sick these past four or five days. The raging inflammation of my tonsils is thankfully gone. Just have a constantly blocked nose and a light head left to get rid of. I didn't have a coffee during the first three days of the illness and it resulted in a motherfucking monster of a headache. You know the type that makes you clamp your jaw shut, squeeze you eyes closed and lay almost catatonic hoping it'll pass? I stole some of Jason's Coke to make it go away and I've been drinking a can of Redbull when I wake uip to keep it at bay. I've been playing DOS games that I've downloaded from Home of the Underdogs, mostly things I saw in magazines or on other people's computers and thought 'woah, cool!' Lately it's been Lands of Lore: the Throne of Chaos. When I finish that I'll probably move onto this game called 'Martian Dreams'. It's part of the Ultima family, the engine it uses taken from one of the earlier Ultima games. The story set in the 1800s. You play a member of an expedition to Mars that has been put together to rescue a previous group of travellers that accidently got themselves launched there. I've only played the character creation so far. I had to sit there and answer questions posed to me by Sigmund Freud and listen to his unconsciously rude observations. Too cool.
