Finding things out about old games that I'd forgotten. For instance: the manual isn't a peice of crap that only explains half the features and you're better off without. For older games the manual was a very handy thing, usually referred to after coming up against something and thinking 'now how the fuck do I do this?' Instead of being an extended advertisement for the game (which confuses me, why do I need an ad if I've already bought the thing?) these old manuals tell you how to play the game. Funny, huh? Plus there used to be this form of copy protection where they'd hide important information in the manual that you needed to complete the game, really irritating.
