I'd forgotten how cool it was playing the necromancer in Diablo 2. There's something about summoning my skeletal minions, saying incantations over the corpses of the newly fallen to turn comrades against comrades, the legions of dead moving at my command! I've been playing the barbarian too much lately, probably why I lost interest in the game for a while. It's funny, but Diablo 2 helps me work. After a few hours playing that I need something else to do, something that isn't so banal as walking into the next area and killing the next wave, getting the next load of treasure. Writing fills this need perfectly. It's like the game stimulates my need to work.
