I'm trying to write something with absolutely no sensationalism in it at all. Seems most the books you hear about these days contain some amazing happening and the writing is about the acts and emotions surrounding it. While I'm not going to put it down -- hell, I've never had a book published so I can hardly point fingers and claim the high road -- I chose to not do that, for my first book at least. Life isn't sensational. It's just not. There have been studies done that have discovered that even when something amazing does happen in our lives, the brain releases chemicals that tell you that everything is all right and you will recover and life will get back to normal straight away. Life isn't sensational. I want to write the truth so here it is. Nothing ever happens. The same shit just cycles around and around happening over and over. There is a limited amount of situations we can get into and they repeat endlessly. There's only different angles, no different things. I don't think it's pessimistic. It's only pessimistic if you think it is. It isn't anything: it just is. So that's what I'm writing a book about. It's hard as fuck to make that entertaining and interesting.
