I was playing Baldurs Gate last night and it made me decide that I am seriously not cut out for this adventuring business. There's one quest where you have to retreive this little girl's cat from a waterfall. Of course, it's dead when you pull it out. Instead of me thinking it was kinda strange for this young child to be in the middle of nowhere like would be sensible, I go and do something dumb. Nope, I head straight back to town, a day's journey, spend a few thousand gold peices on trying to revive the poor little cat to no avail. So I grudgingly take the dead cat back to the little girl, all the way out in the middle of nowhere. She takes it back and says her father will raise it. I felt cheated. I really did.
