In the Eternal City my main character was recently promoted to Sergeant of the Blackvine Militia. This means that the paltry combat skills I've been bluffing myself through the game on for the past nine months suddenly need to be brushed up. And in a big way. I've been brushing for a few weeks now and I'm starting to come good. The Blackvine Militia is a small fighting outfit that has volunteered for the job of defending a town a little to the north of Iridine. Basicly we get together every now and then to beat up the local baddies. It's also our job to respond to any threats to the village. It's a lot of fun.
