Saw the debt collector tonight. Billy Connelly as a reformed headkicker who's been in jail for twenty years, come out and become an acclaimed author and sculptor. It's the type of movie that's like a continuous wince. From the ugly little bastard trying to live up to the legend, to the scene where the hero rapes Connelly's character's wife, it's the antithesis to the kind of comic violence in Pulp Fiction and all the movies that followed in homage or imitation. Anyway, I liked it.
