Jesus Christ! I'm watching the discovery channel, some program about books. They're talking about the great gatsby, and there's all these people with grey hair and beards talking about how the book is a reflection on American society, the wish to be somebody, to be rich and the consequences of this. Have they read the fucking book? It's about love and the consequences of obsession. They make it sound like Gatsby wants to be rich for the sake of being rich, rather than to capture this woman he doesn't know but loves regardless. Fucking hell!
