I don't understand the lava lamp. Not only do I fail to get what the hell is in those damn things, but I don't understand the why, either. Well, actually I do get the use of drugs and looking at pretty lights, even though I suspect there may be more than a little bullshit in that as well, with people staring at the funny lights feeling whatever they do because they think they should. Anyway, if the lava lamp is really drug paraphenlia, why the hell do they sell them in gift shops in yuppycentres? Do the people that buy or recieve them sit around and think, 'hey, Iets turn on the lavalamp for a while and sit around and watch it'? I need this explained to me.
