The scam lives on. Went into centrelink this morning. Dad told me I'd better wear my jacket. Didn't ask why, but I suspect he was trying to torture me because it was fucking warm out there. Still is. Anyway, went into the office and they tell me the person that was supposed to perform my interview wasn't there, so they'd book me another in a fortnight. I remember when I missed an interview and they stopped my payments. Since they've missed one, means I should get double now. Or something. Anyway, to satisfy them I'm looking for work after being unemployed for six months I have to do an activity. They gave me a nice booklet that would've been money better spent on food for me six months ago, but oh well. Looks like one of their 'activities' is moving to an area with greater job prospects. Everywhere and anywhere has better job prospects than Portland, and I was going to anyway. Yay!
