I got two 'employer contact certificates' from Centrelink a little while back. They're covered in coffee stains. I've got just over two weeks to have them filled in. The thing is, I have to take them to a place where I'm applying for work and have them sign it, saying that I was there and they saw me. It's another verification that I do deserve the welfare payments I'm getting, and that I'm not sitting around on my arse all day doing nothing. If I don't get them done, they may stop my payments. It's not so life-or-death as when I was living away from my parents, but still.... Anyway, I've got two weeks to do them. I got a job off Jobsearch to apply for. It's just that I'm so unused to these things. It seems absurd that it's difficult to make a single phonecall, but it is.
